Different Solutions for Different Water Environments

Containment booms act as physical barriers that help control the movement of oil, fuel, chemicals or floating debris. The appropriate solution depends on factors including the type of watercourse, current and tidal conditions, deployment period and material being contained.

The Trident range includes inflatable and solid flotation options for a variety of applications. Fence booms provide a lightweight solution for inland and sheltered waters, while inflatable booms can support rapid emergency deployment in inland waters, ports, harbours and docks.

Beach and bank seal booms are designed for tidal or changing water levels, maintaining containment as the water recedes. Harbourguard booms provide high buoyancy for harbour and open-water applications, while debris booms help contain plastics and other floating materials in rivers, harbours and estuaries.

Supporting Deployment and Long-Term Readiness

Boom selection involves more than choosing a size. Materials, connectors, anchoring arrangements, water depth, flow and expected deployment time can all affect performance.
