The latest ScorStore system brings the boom reel and hydraulic power pack together within a single frame. By mounting the ScorPack Power Pack directly onto the structure, the system reduces the need for additional hydraulic hoses and helps shorten equipment setup time.
This integrated configuration also creates a more self-contained solution for teams operating in environments where space, response time and equipment coordination are important considerations.
Configured Around Operational Requirements
Each ScorStore Boom Reel can be custom-built around the client’s specifications and intended application.
The first production batch includes both regular and large-diameter reel configurations. This flexibility allows clients to select a system that reflects their containment equipment, available working space and operational approach.
Bringing the principal components together within one package can also simplify crew coordination and help organisations maintain a more adaptable response capability.
Capacity for Up to 300 Metres of Boom
The ScorStore Boom Reel is designed to store and deploy substantial lengths of containment boom.
For this batch, the systems have been configured to accommodate up to 300 metres of Scorpion 525A CSM air-inflatable boom. This provides operators with the capacity required for larger containment arrangements while keeping the equipment stored within an organised deployment system.
Greater Control During Deployment and Recovery
The system incorporates several features developed to support controlled boom handling.
Integrated Hydraulic Braking
Built-in hydraulic braking gives operators greater control over the reel during deployment and recovery.
